My name is Zornitsa Stoyanova and I am a choreographer based in Philly. I started this video blog hoping to answer the question.
Why does my dancing look nothing like my choreography?
So, I have decided that withing the frame of one year, I will document solo improvisations and post them here in this blog. This will make me not only watch them repeatedly, but be forced to describe what interests me in them. I have an acute interest in improvising with the camera, and through this research project I hope to learn and understand not only my movement interests, but also the movement of the camera as well.
