Ok, I’m cheating a bit by posting this, but I feel that its relevant.
This is a choreographed piece I made on Emma Morehouse and Erin Desmond (the two wonderful dancers) called Emulator. Emulator was featured in Low Lives 3, which is an online live streaming international festival on April 29th.
So this is the recording of the live stream. I’m posting it here, because the camera work is done by me (yes its a web cam and the quality sucks), but also it is improvised and is framing the dance in a way I am really interested, working with scale and perspective.
p.s. There is not sound, but once in a while you can hear the live audience that is behind the curtain. It was really fun to broadcast this to a live audience, who was watching the feed about 10 seconds in delay, so we started our piece long before they actually were able to see it, and yet they were noticing our shadows and knew we were performing live.
