Sunday night Cinderella Time

I guess this is a Bulgarian expression: “Cinderella Time” – which really means midnight.
I felt the need to improvise after seeing Christopher Williams and a joined show at space with Kelly Bond and Megan Bridge. I didn’t get into the space until it was almost 11 pm and was wondering what the hell to I play in order to make myself moving. I found old old music in my phone that I used to listed in high school. Gothan Project…. if you haven’t heard them….wow… where have you been? They were like the Radiohead for dance before Radiohead became the music to use for your video auditions. Anyway, Gothan Project is the type of music I used to get drunk and ecstatic by back in the day ( don’t get me wrong Radiohead was also in this category) and now I could never never never listen to more than about 10s into their songs.

This said, here are my 2 improv videos listening to Gothan Project. The third one is Alva Noto, who is still my all time favorite. I suggest you mute the sound at least a couple of times during watching. The timing is actually much more interesting without the sound.
